To become is what I do to give meaning to my life.
I become. I seeing myself be the person I am being in the moment. I watch myself become me. The me I am free to be.

To Become I would need to feel it was with a freedom to become what I see me being. I guess I can always have the choice to feel that there is a meaning to my life. To give meaning is to make living more than existing. Giving meaning is a choice we can make. A way of seeing. Meaning is what I think people see in God. God is a way of making existence meaningful. It is the choice to look for this meaning that is religious, not God. God is merely one way of responding to the religious meaningfulness makes people Become.

Yes, the total amount of brain activity is one level of exponential growth.
Another is the interconnectivity and parallel thinking. Communications has made people have common knowledge of what each other may also know and sharing makes seepage of mind (intellect and emotion) activity into a sponge like noosphere.

In the singularity, the man made minds and human minds will merge. The thinking ability of these minds will also be exponentially more powerful.
The total number and power of mind on Earth will be huge. It is as if the Earth will have a super brain, perhaps able to regulate itself (putting human values first, I hope).
I imagine a "Smart Earth." An Earth that uses it's combined mind power to be aware of itself and become. That is, the mental activities on the planet will create ways to regulate other activities. The total thinking power on the planet will be able to persuade and guide itself. Smart Earth will treat all of itself as one.

Personal privacy is the first thing that comes to my mind. (What will "my mind" mean in the future). How much of it do I really need?
